Join us for an exciting and interactive ‘Create and Explore’ in Hall 1 at Countryside Live.

Showcasing a range of food, farming and rural craft activities with demonstrations and workshops for the whole family to get involved in and enjoy.

Halloween witch at Countryside LiveStage Show

The Stage Show will be running throughout the day with Show & Tell Live, where there will be demonstrations of the activities you can take part in- from making sausages to meeting a variety of animals!

Follow Annie the Alpaca around the grounds to fun & interactive hot spots.

Meet the Farmer, find the answers and even cuddle some animals along the way!

Available from the info point in Hall 1 foyer, return your completed trail to enter the exciting prize draw.

chicks at Countryside LiveEntertainment:

Take a seat and enjoy some first rate entertainment with the stage show running throughout the weekend.

FREE face painters will be on hand to turn the little ones into their favourite character.

Join in with circus skills and watch your children’s excited faces as they learn to throw a diabolo and juggle bean bags or watch the wool spinners fast at work.

Planting at Countryfile side LiveExperience:

Watch the wood carving demonstration and see their creations come to life, have a go at building a stone wall. Plant a broad bean in a bag to take home and watch grow and eat!

Take a trip to the Harvest Festival Display to take part in grinding grain to produce flour and pressing oil seed rape or visit the NFU Discovery Barn with lots of farm inspired games for all to enjoy.

 

Get Creative:

Willow weaving, felting, and puppet making are just a few of the crafty activities the family can get involved with. Why not roll a wax candle whilst discovering more about Bees or learn about the importance of recycling whilst decorating your own recycled seasonal shape

 

Sausage making at Countryside LiveMake & Bake:

From kneading dough to having a go at making the perfect sausage, there will be lots of opportunities for the younger ones to get hands on and learn where their food comes from and how it’s made.

 

 

 

Meet The Animals:

There will be plenty of opportunities to meet a variety of animals including farm animals, newly hatched chicks, alpacas plus some more exotic creatures and bugs. There will also be arena displays including birds of prey, sheep dog and ducks and even the chance to race against a ferret!

Please be aware that the following activities will operate a booking system to guarantee you a time slot. Please book direct with the stand on arrival which are located in the Create & Explore area of Hall 1. These workshops will also provide a number of places on a first-come-first-serve basis at each session.
